Waffle Recipe Notes:
What type of apple to use?
Any type of sweet apple is delicious for these. I love Honeycrisp or Pink Lady, but use your favorite!
Add in some nuts. Feel free to add a small handful of nuts or fresh chopped pecans to the batter!
These are meant to be dessert waffles. The waffles are not particularly sweet by themselves. If you do not want he apple pie filling/topping, the waffles are the perfect waffles to serve with some butter and maple syrup!
